The CAD is quiet and unchanged from last week’s close with struggling crude prices offsetting encouraging trade news. Inflation data is released on Wednesday followed by retail sales numbers on Friday.
The USD is mixed to open the trading week with very little fundamental news to provide movement this week. Overall market sentiment is showing a slight increase in risk appetite which could weigh slightly on the greenback.
The Euro is making slight gains on the back of gains in German GDP numbers as well as Brexit optimism. Fundamentals are also quiet out of the Eurozone this week until Friday morning’s PMI numbers out of Germany and France.
